How can we help? 👋

Publish template changes to existing plans

When you make changes or additions to your templates, you can choose to publish those changes to active plans that were already created from those templates!

As you refine your onboarding process and make edits to your Arrows templates, you can retroactively update plans that you’ve already created from those templates - even if you’ve shared them with customers!

Whether you create brand new tasks or edit existing ones, you have the option to publish those updates automatically.

Accessing the Manage task copies drawer

You’ll notice a Publish task… button at the bottom of tasks when you are in Edit mode inside of a template.

After you create or edit your task, clicking this button will allow you to publish those changes

Adding new tasks

If you add a brand new task, the Publish task… panel will give you the option to Create task for existing plans. A popup notification will ask you to confirm the change and soon those existing plans will reflect the changes

You can select Preview if you want to see a list of all plans that will be impacted by the change.

Editing existing tasks

If you make changes to existing tasks, the Publish task… drawer will give you the option to push those changes to existing plans.

A popup notification will ask you to confirm the change and soon those existing plans will reflect the changes

You can select Preview if you want to see a list of all plans that will be impacted by the change.

Note - if the task is already completed on an existing plan, we will not undo that task status. All original comments will be preserved while everything else will be overwritten.

Depending on the number of impacted plans, this process could take a few minutes to complete!

Be sure to notify customers there are new tasks available for their attention by heading to their plan and assigning the newly created task accordingly - you can send your customers a comment directly from the task too (which sends an email reminder as well).
