Follow up emails are time consuming but critical in keeping the sales process moving forward.
A HubSpot snippet is a great way to save a pre-written message that can be used within a follow up email!
Arrows also provides you a clickable link to each room as a property on your deal record - that can be added into the snippet directly as well!
NOTE this can also be saved as a HubSpot template if you want to include a subject and/or more details
Sync the room link property into HubSpot
First, you’ll want to sync the Arrows room link as a property into HubSpot.
Click here to access the integration tab inside your Arrows account and confirm that the Arrows room link data point is synced to your deal records in HubSpot (you will need admin access in Arrows to sync properties)
If the Arrows room link property is already synced, you are all set.
Otherwise, you’ll want to select it from the available data points and select Create & sync HubSpot properties to set it up.
Create a HubSpot snippet
Head to HubSpot and…
- open the Library menu
- select Snippets
- and, select Create snippet
Customize your snippet
When setting up a snippet, you’ll want to…
- give it an internal name so you can search for it
- add the message you want to save
- use the Personalize option to insert the link to the room (the property point we synced above)
- add a shortcut to quickly search for your snippet when sending follow up emails
- and, Save your snippet when done

Here is an example we recommend and use ourselves here at Arrows
To add the property for the direct link to the room…
- select Personalize
- select Deal as your token type
- search for “Arrows room link”
- and, select the Arrows room link property

Add any additional snippets to speed up your follow up process
We also recommend a very basic version of this snippet with JUST the link to the room - that way any time your team replies to or sends an email to a prospect, they can quickly drop the link to the room at the end of EVERY email.
Remember, the goal is to keep them coming back to the room for all the information they need instead of creating yet another email chain of information.
Give this basic snippet a different name and shortcut than the first one so your team can easily find it!
Using your snippet in a follow up email
Once you have saved the snippets above they are ready for your team to use!
The next time you are composing an email in HubSpot you can type #room (or whatever you named your shortcut) to quickly add that message to your email…
Be sure to confirm…
- who the email is being sent to
- add a subject line (if you save this as a template, that can be streamlined as well!)
- confirm the snippet pulled in the right message (edit if you need)
- and, send away!
You’ll notice the property token for Deal: Arrows room link now actually displays the name of your room and will automatically link customers to THEIR respective room!
