Agent block: Next steps

Show buyers that you actually listened. The Next steps block creates a personalized summary of what comes next the moment your call is over.

Your buyer won't have to wonder what happens now, it will already be documented and shared with them!

After your discovery or demo call, this block reads the transcripts (and any emails or notes from your CRM) to generate a concise, buyer-facing summary of the next steps in the process.

This includes information such as:

• Context about a potential trial period

• Upcoming calls or follow-ups

• Potential tasks the buyer could handle on their side

The buyer sees this in their room and immediately recognizes the conversation they had with you. It signals that you understand their situation AND makes them feel heard.

Here is an example of a Next steps block based on the configuration that follows below:

Buyers often receive generic follow-up materials after a demo, and it often comes hours afterwards.

Seeing a personalized summary of the next steps you just talked about IMMEDIATELY creates a moment that builds trust and keeps the deal moving.

💡 Pro tip: This block works best when placed in a section for Next steps, somewhere in the middle of your room. This section might also include resources or scheduling options for future calls.

After adding an Agent block to your template:

1. Title the block "Next steps"

2. Add the agent instructions (copy prompt below)

3. Hit Next

Update the next steps to reflect forward-looking actions based on recent CRM activity. Focus on customer-facing steps that move the deal forward, avoiding internal reminders or tasks the prospect shouldn't see. 

Tell the agent when to run and when to make changes.

In this example, we want the agent to run whenever new CRM activity is added and automatically make the changes to the block so it is always in the most current state!
